Yana Gladkikh
Writer & Director
Yana Gladkikh is a Russian born film director and actress, whose work bridges the traditions of Russian psychological theater and contemporary cinema. She began her career as an actress, graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre School, founded by Konstantin Stanislavsky and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko, where she received the prestigious Golden Leaf Award for outstanding student work.
Qiuping Han
Producer
Film producer and founder of Bombax Films, working across IP adaptation, creative development, film production, and China–U.S. cross-border projects. Educated between China and the United States, with an MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory and a BFA in Cinematography from the Beijing Film Academy. My work focuses on original stories with strong adaptation potential, women-driven and character-focused narratives, and elevated genre cinema. I have produced multiple narrative shorts, including Song of Silence, an original short film IP that has been developed into the feature adaptation No Man’s Land by AF Films. Produced $1.5M sci-fi feature Our Space, adapted from the 3-million-copy bestselling children’s book Dreams of the Universe, with a major theatrical release in August 2026. My experience spans development, script evaluation, IP adaptation, production, distribution, film finance research, festival strategy, and virtual production. I have worked with or contributed to projects and companies including Alcon Entertainment, Roadside Attractions, Blue Fox Financing, TOKYOPOP Media, Blossoms Shanghai, Legend of the Demon Cat, and Genshin Impact 2023 Concert. Through Bombax Films, I collaborate with filmmakers, rights holders, brands, and international partners on film, adaptation, and cross-border production projects.
Carl Rennie
Producer & Co-writer
Carl Rennie is a writer, director, and producer with a love of genre and creating fantastical worlds for grounded, often forgotten characters. A graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory, his work has been BAFTA-longlisted and screened at premier festivals including LA Shorts, Dances With Films, and the Beverly Hills International Film Festival. Carl's unique trajectory also includes two decades of tech industry leadership at Netflix, YouTube, and Google.
